Hard Mode:
Choose "Head To Head" mode, then when choosing a car, track and race type, hold [End].
View Overhead:
Begin a race in single player mode. Next, press [Ctrl] + [Alt] + 1 to enable overhead view; press [Ctrl] + [Alt] + [car number 2-8] to track the corresponding vehicle.
